YIKES!
My goodness, it has been SO long since I last took the time to write. My bad! Taking the time now to briefly update on what has happened in the last six weeks.
Probably the biggest news of all is the opening of a brand new conglomerate on HyenaCart called Kings of the Castle! It's an all boy congo with a lot of fantastic vendors, plenty of diversity and lots of big-name guests on the calendar. A close local WAHM friend and I are running it together. We're SO excited to watch it grow! We stock the second Friday of every month at 7pm EST.
Another new development is my latest pattern release. Yesterday I published the longies pattern I wrote and have been using for the last two years. Kumfy™ Pants are a loose-fitting style of woolies. Multiple short rows across the bum, generous gusset and wide-leg fit are perfect for any little one, chunky or slim. Two different waistband styles offer multiple possibilities: The classic 2x2 ribbing with a drawstring, or the extra-long fold-over yoga-style waistband in 1x1 ribbing. This is my second pattern to be published, and I'm SO excited. It's a much more complicated pattern so it was A LOT more work- seven pages, in fact, with photo tutorials for techniques and videos for others. Once edited the videos will be posted here to be linked for further help in guiding knitters through new techniques.
On a personal note, my young husband who has suffered from Lumbar Spinal Stenosis for several years had a drastic worsening of his condition in early March and was taken off of work. After seven long weeks of treatment and very little improvement, he is going back to work tomorrow with a plan in place to rehabilitate and the possibility of spinal surgery this summer. Prayers for my incredibly hard-working man are always appreciated.

Spinal surgery? Josh has all the prayers I can spare, I truly hope he can get better without that.

Hmm.. I kind of feel obligated to enter your contest but really just wanted to send my prayers and congratulations. Meh, whatever it'll just give you ideas of what to stock more of.
I like the scrappy super hero diaper because growing up I wanted to marry batman and my boys are big into superheros now. I also like the Becoming Art Rainy Day Handspun BFL because it's pretty.
I do hope Josh's first day back to work went (maybe it's goes?) well.
